Mount Spokane State Park

Mount Spokane State Park is a premier outdoor destination just a short drive from Spokane, offering year-round adventure for families and kids alike. In the summer, you can drive up Mount Spokane’s Summit Road (seasonal, typically June–October depending on snow) to reach the historic Vista House, where panoramic views of the surrounding Selkirk Mountains await. Bowl And Pitcher Overlook

Bowl & Pitcher is a scenic area within Riverside State Park known for its dramatic basalt rock formations and views of the Spokane River. One of the highlights is the historic suspension bridge, which connects visitors to a loop trail with river overlooks, shaded forest paths, and photo-worthy viewpoints. This area of Riverside State Park is popular for hiking, picnicking, and peaceful walks surrounded by nature just minutes from downtown Spokane.

Indian Canyon Mystic Falls

Mystic Falls is a lesser-known waterfall tucked inside Indian Canyon, offering a quiet escape just outside of Spokane. The trail winds through a wooded canyon and leads to a seasonal waterfall that flows strongest in spring and after rainfall. This hidden gem is popular with locals looking for a short hike, scenic views, and a peaceful outdoor experience close to the city. Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane is the city’s signature gathering space built on the site of Expo ’74, featuring more than 100 acres of attractions along the Spokane River.
